Helping

Sometimes I like to help Mommy when she is working on our photo album. My job is "Creative Consultant." I do this by sighing and giving her "the eye" to let her know when a layout looks good or bad. And sometimes I sniff the pictures. That helps her a lot.

Mommy likes this picture because it is a double page spread of cuteness. And I'm sure you will notice that several of the pictures on the page are of me or Clover sitting on the desk just like I am doing in the big picture. Oooh, neat!

The doggy propped up against the wall is Muffin. She is at the Rainbow Bridge now. She lived with Mommy and Aunt Meg and Grandma and Grandpa when Mommy was growing up. Speaking of the Bridge, Grandma's best friend's dog Sophie went to the Bridge this week. She was 17 years old. I never got to meet her, but Mommy liked her. Goodbye Sophie! We'll miss you!

Bye for now,
Poppy the LBC

Hi Poppy! I can tell you are a very good Creative Consultant. Sniffing the pictures is very important.

I'm sorry to hear of Sophie crossing the bridge.

I wish I could sit on the table and advise my human woman of her creative things, but I'm a tad bit too big and fluffy to fit on the table. Plus if there is any glue involved, then it usually gets coated in fur, and although I think that's just fine, the human woman doesn't like that.

Your mommy should put a picture of you sitting next to the scrapbook inside the scrapbook! It would be like a picture within a picture...Wait, now my head hurts...

Is that a little bell I see on your collar??? I had one, too. It made me feel like a cat so I got rid of it. But Mommy thought it was soooo cute. Humans are weird.

We'll keep Sophie's family in our thoughts.

Poppy, I could NEVER sit that close to those pictures in that album because I would chew them up!

Muffin looked like a really nice dog. I'm sad to hear that Sophie crossed the bridge, too. It's so hard when that time comes (even if you are 17!). I don't like to think about it.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Sophie. We are sending purrs and gentle headbutts to all of you and to Sophies family.

Hi Poppy! I missed you! Mom has quite a few friends waiting on her at the Bridge too.

Do you get paid for your creative consulting?

Hey Poppy. You are a really good lookin chi like me. I did a little reading up on your blog and saw you had to have some surgery. It looks like you live in a very active house and you're doing really good with your walkin. Stop by and see me some time. I have a link to another chi in California on my blog. His name is Rambo and we think we're long lost cousins.

I forgot to mention that my mom used to have a Jack russell terrier named Poppyseed - a very complementary name to the beagle that she used to have named Bagel!
