Fort Funston, Leaf Walk, and Cuddling!

Last month we went to Fort Funston. (Yes, I said "last month" and I'm just now getting around to posting about it.) It was a super great day. The weather was so warm that I didn't even have to wear my jacket the whole time! We went down to the beach and when my feet hit the sand I totally freaked out! I tried to run in circles as fast as a tornado! I love the beach!!!!! I even met a new friend down there. I don't know his name, but he was really nice and we hit it off really well. In this picture you can see an action shot of us playing.

Before we left, Mommy and Daddy wrote my name really big in the sand. I tried to do a nice pose, but the beach is a very distracting place!

The other day we went on a fall leaf walk. Daddy took lots of pictures of the colorful leaves, and a couple of me too. Mommy really likes this fuzzy purple stuff.

Lately I have been doing a lot of aggressive cuddling, which means I squirm and wiggle until I get into the perfect position to maximize body contact and heat transfer. It has been super cold here!!!
I hope all my furiends can forgive me for my long absences from my blog and my lack of commenting. The truth is, Mommy has become a teeny bit obsessed with digital scrapbooking. So every time she is on the computer, she scrapbooks pictures of me instead of helping me check my blogs!

Bye for now,
Poppy the LBC

Very nice pictures...I wish I could take Draco to a beach to run. I'm glad you are scrapbooking
It is so fun and creative and the memories it preserves, fantastic. I do digital also...much less mess, not to mention less expensive. You should post some of your Poppy creations on her blog.

Hi Poppy,

Great to see you again. I would love to run on the beach like you. Your little furiend looks like he'd be fun. Mom says the blue flower is Victoria Blue Salvia. It's one of her favs too.

Keep warm!

We love all the pictures of you Poppy. Your little friend looks like another chihuahua. It is getting cold now, brrrr, don't blame you for sapping all Dad's body heat.
You will have to start being a bit stricter with Mummy, BOL!
Wags and kisses, Dinah Bridget and Elliot xx

Aggressive cuddling...so that's what you call it. I do a LOT of that, too. :)

Well, at least your Mom is scrapbooking pictures of you....that is the next best thing to blogging....isn't it?

Looks like you have had some fun times..and now it is time to settle in for a while and stay warm. We have been snuggling with our Meowm quite a bit these last few weeks.

I love your name in the sand, Poppy!

I know exactly what you mean about your mom being distracted with things and not blogging as much as is expected. Geesh! What a life we have!
