A Playdate With My Bestest Friend!

Hi Everybuddy!

I had a super-fun playdate on Saturday with my bestest friend in the whole world!  Maggie is so tiny and cute.  I just love her.  She is such a good jumper and she loves to get up in the planter boxes.  I wanted her to come down and play with me, since I'm not such a good jumper and I can't really get up in the planter boxes.  Eventually she came down and we played a little bit of chase and also found some sticks to chew on.  This was Maggie's first stick chewing experience!

Coastal Beauty

Hi Furiends,

Yesterday we went on a walk on the coast along a bluff overlooking the ocean.  I had lots of fun because there was tons of grass to graze on.  I kept forgetting that we were supposed to be walking because the yummy nummy grass was so distracting!

It was such a beautiful day and such a lovely place to walk.  I'm a little short, so sometimes I had trouble seeing the view over all the scrubby bushes.

When we got to the top we had a great view!  Daddy picked me up so I could see really far.  It was so clear we could even see all the way out to some tiny little islands way off in the distance.

I was really tired at the end of our hike.  I slept all the way home in the car!

I'm Ready!

I'm ready for the Puppy Bowl, are you? Apparently there is some sort of other sporting event on today as well. I am ready to cheer for my Daddy's favorite team.

My Busy January

Hi Furiends!

As you can see, I have been very busy this month!  My days were full of napping while wrapped in fleece, helping my Mommy finish her smoothie, worshipping at the alter of the magic heat box, sunbathing, and walking at the park.

But my month was not all sunshine and rainbows, my furiends, no not at all.  The other day we went to the v-e-t for a pawdicure and my Mommy decided to put me on the big-dog scale in the lobby because I am often way too wiggly for the little-dog scale on the exam table.  So anyway, she put me on the scale and discovered that I weigh 9 1/2 pounds.  This sounds okay to me, but Mommy was kind of not too happy about it.

So now for the horrible news: I AM ON A DIET!!!  So far this has meant no people-food treats from the dinner table.  Noooooo!!!  I am using my best big-brown-eyes look to try to return things to their normal state, which is that of Daddy feeding me all the time.  So far it is not working.  I will keep you updated...

Sick Day

I'm keeping Mommy company on the couch while she has a really bad headache and cough. My job is to sit on top of her and lick her nose every now and then. I think I'm doing really good job.

Snow-venture!!!

Hello Furiends!

I journeyed last week to a very cold place with lots of snow on the ground.  I spent three days being carried around.  My feet never touched the ground outside!  Mommy and I had to wait outside while Daddy shoveled a path to the cabin door.  I waited inside Mommy's puffy jacket.  It was so cold!!!

The place where we stayed had a nice fireplace.  As soon as we got inside, my preferred location was on my big puffy travel bed right in front of the roaring fire.  It was so warm in that spot that I didn't even need to wear my sweater!  Oh, how I wish we had one of these at our regular house!

Mommy and Daddy took me snowshoeing.  I rode in my backpack the whole time.  It was really cold, so I wore my fleece jacket AND a fleece blanket AND Daddy's puffy jacket.  The only thing that got a teeny bit chilly was my ears.  I wish I had a hat with ear-cones.
