Christmas Eve Eve

It is only a couple of days until the big day, and I am getting very excited! Last night I got a little over-excited and I decided to open one of my presents early! When Daddy saw me, he said, "Uh, what is Poppy doing?" Mommy ran in and caught me in the act! It's not my fault though. She left it right where I could get it, and it was wrapped enticingly in tissue paper, which I love to shred. Here is a picture of me being caught red-pawed:

Since they caught me before I had opened it all the way, I still don't know what it is. That makes TWO presents that I'm not allowed to play with before Christmas...I can't wait!!!

In other exciting news, I did something outstandingly awesome the other night. Grandma and Grandpa were over at our house watching the volleyball game. Mommy had just finished asking them if they would watch me when they go down to southern California next month. She had just reminded them how good I was and how wonderful I was. I knew they were talking about me, so I wanted to go up my ramp so I could sit with them on the couch. But when I got half way up the ramp, I stopped. I had this sudden surprising urge. Can you guess what happened? I POOPED! ON THE RAMP! AND IT ROLLED DOWN!!! Oh man it was great. I was squatting there on the ramp and my nuggets were rolling down behind me. Mommy really really wanted to take a quick picture, but she thought that it would be better if she expressed some shock and dismay instead because, after all, Grandma and Grandpa were sitting right there and they saw the whole thing!

In case you think that was a really gross story, here are some awards I received recently from Coco, to remind you what a good and nice doggy I truly am:

Here is another picture of me being a perfect little angel, just in case you need another reminder of what a good and nice doggy I am. In this picture I am playing "Princess and the Pea."

In this picture I am doing my very best to help Mommy wrap Christmas presents. Sometimes it is hard because I don't have thumbs, but I can use my mouth instead:

Come back on Christmas and see a picture of me in front of the Christmas tree!

Bye for now,

Poppy the LBC

Hahahahaha! Good one, Poppy! I guess it's a good thing that poop rolls downhill.

Hi, Poppy!
Just to imagine you there on the ramp and the poops rolling down gave me a good laugh!
I tried to help my mom with the wrapping thing but I think she did not appreciate my work!
Kisses and hugs
