I Got a Big Present

My Mommy and Daddy bought me some new couches as an early Christmas present! They are brown microfiber treated with a special non-toxic substance designed to protect the couch from "human and pet saliva, urine, stomach fluid, or blood." What in the world do they think is going to happen here?!

The couch is very comfy and I heartily approve!!! The only problem is that my ramp does not quite reach all the way to the top like it should. I will have to ask Daddy to fix this for me.

I am very excited for Christmas. I have a feeling this is going to be a good one. Last year wasn't so good. We were all very sad. So we are all VERY EXCITED about this year!

We are so busy with Christmas plans that I have been slacking on keeping up with all my doggy bloggy friends. I promise I'll try to be better!

Bye for now,
Poppy the Little Blonde Chihuahua

Nice couch! Are you sure your humans weren't shopping at the store where prisons buy their furniture?

I know what you mean about having a good christmas this year. You have a lot in common with my "brother" Sam, as he is on his 2nd year of being spineless. His bad thing happened Christmas day 2006. Here is a picture of his surgery owie: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/166/353273644_b451a6272d.jpg

Oooh, I like your new couches. With all that "resistant" stuff, maybe they're planning for their old age or something.

I love your ramp! It makes a huge difference, doesn't it? Shea (now at the Bridge) had a ramp when she got older. Papa built it for her, it went all the way from the top of the stairs in the house, down to the ground off their back step! Your Daddy will make it work, I know he will!

We just read about what happened to you last Christmas. What a hard time that was for all of you! We know that this year will be a bazillion times better!

Love you, Poppy!

Poppy,

I got new couches too! They're not microfiber though and they're very slippery but very comfy! I have steps to one couch and a stool to another. It's nice of our humans to think of us isn't it?

Protect it from dog urine and saliva, why would they do that?! It is a nice looking couch.

Hi, Poppy! Thanks for the comment on The Girl's post the other day. I can assure you, she is a pro at stressing about everything! I'm pretty laid back about stuff, so I'm trying to teach her!

Hi Poppy
I haven't been blogging and visiting a lot either. I think your last year got better and better and next year will be the best. I guess that couch is ready for anything. Yikes!

Happy holidays
