Rolling in the Grass!

Hello Everybuddy!

I have discovered something new and fun!  Did you know that if you find something delicious-smelling in the grass, it is really fun to roll all around in it?  Well, I did not know this until recently.  Yes, sometimes I like to smoosh my face in something, but I really don't do that very often.  But I had never EVER tried rolling in something before.  I was ambling around in my backyard when I smelled something irresistible.  What was it?  I DON'T EVEN KNOW!  But it was awesome.  And I suddenly felt like maybe it would be a good and fun idea to flop over and roll in it.  And I was right!  It was both good AND fun!

Mommy thought this was soooooo funny, since I had literally never done this before.  Of course she had to take pictures...34 pictures, to be exact.  She made the best ones into a scrapbook page about me.  Yay!

Do you ever have an irresistible urge to roll in something?

Playdate Fun!!!

Hi furiends!

This is my friend Maggie. We have been having regular playdates lately because our parents are tired of other big meanie dogs attacking us at the park. It's happened to each of us at least once, and let me tell you, it is No Fun At All! So now we get to have playdates in one of our backyards instead. One time we even had another chihuahua join us. He was just a puppy, so Maggie and I had to tell him who's boss (us, of course).

You can tell that I like Maggie a whole lot because I am letting her sniff my butt.  I don't to that very much at all.  Mostly I like other doggies to stay away from my rear end.  So this means I think she is pretty awesome!

A Springy Walk!

Hello Furiends!

Today Mommy and I went for a nice warm walk around the neighborhood. It is finally starting to be spring here. Yay! Whenever we are out walking and we see poppies, Mommy makes me pose with them. Today was no different. You see, they are her favorite flower (I'm named after them), but she has never really had much luck growing them herself. Daddy planted some for her again this year, so maybe they'll get super big. Keep your paws crossed!

In this picture maybe you can see that I am kind of anxious to move on. Posing without treats is not my favorite thing. I wanted to get it over with and keep walking! She only took two pictures today, so it wasn't that bad.

My Birthday Present!

My birthday was a few days ago and Mommy and Daddy got me this cute little bunny toy. I love stuffies, and this one is especially great because it's made of organic cotton! I really like my new toy a lot. I'm a little bit confused though because Mommy and Daddy keep telling me to "take it easy" and not play so hard. My back was hurting earlier this week and I guess they're still worried about it. I feel good though! Let's play!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Hello Furiends!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! I am actually not Irish. I am of Mexican heritage, but I was born in the US...I think. But Mommy is half Irish and Daddy is a little Irish too, so I am Irish by adoption, right?

I thought spring had sprung, but then it started raining again yesterday. At least it will make everything green for St. Patrick's Day. And it's also good for the wild animals who need the water. You see, I am trying to think positive about the rain even though I DO NOT LIKE it at all, really.
