My Weekend

My weekend in Lake Tahoe was pretty fun. It was cold and snowy, but I got carried a lot, so it was okay.

In fact, Mommy got a new backpack just so she could carry me on long hikes. The backpack I used to ride in (see this) is not very comfortable to carry, she says. So she got a new ORANGE pack just for me! I know it's just for me because it is in my signature color--ORANGE!

Mommy was very happy when she found this pack because it is a top-loader with two compartments, which is rare for a small daypack. The larger top part is for me, and the smaller bottom part is for Mommy's stuff. The only problem is that the top flap sort of gets in my way. Other than that it's great!

On Sunday, when my parents started packing, I had to make sure they didn't forget me!

I hope everyone else had a great weekend too!

Bye for now,
Poppy the Little Blonde Chihuahua

Hi Poppy,

I have been looking at your site for a few months now and I really have enjoyed it. You are truly a living doll, and so very lucky to have such wonderful parents.

My name is Tessa and I just started my own blog a few weeks ago. I hope that you will come to see me at my blog too.

I hope that we can be friends.

Until later wiggles and nisses (nose kisses), Luv Tessa

Hi Poppy,

I'm glad you had a a nice weekend hiking. That sounds like fun. I never rode in a backpack before but when I was a pup mom would stuff me in her jacket. Now she does that with Banjo.

Wags & wiggles,
Bijou
