Frosty Hearts

It has been hot here the past few days (like in the 80s, oh poor us), so Mommy decided to make me some yummy cool treats. Kind of like Frosty Paws, but healthier! She got the idea from all of you dogs out there, so I thank you for that!

I am the official pre-taster of the house, so I got to lick the spoon. It was all soygurt-y peanut butter-y goodness!

Here are the treats all snug in their molds. Bye-bye treats! Time to go in the freezer!

I was very excited when the Frosty Hearts were ready. Mommy said to staaaaay, so I did.

And then she said “okay” so I knew it was my time to shine. But wait! The Frosty Heart seemed reluctant to get in my mouth. It was so big! And cold! And slippery! So I had to back away and bark at it for a minute. “Hey! Hey you! What is the big idea? Stop sliding around and get in my mouth!”

Eventually I discovered the proper technique. You have to carry the Frosty Heart onto the brand new carpet, where it will not slide around so much. Friction, you know.

I look forward to my next encounter with the Mighty Frosty Heart. AND Mommy and Daddy say they are going to try to make me some cubables like Wally’s. They think I need more whole foods in my diet and a little less brown crunchy foods. I’m okay with that.

Bye for now!

Poppy

pee ess: Mommy wishes she wasn't such a non-computer dork and knew how to post video because she made a movie of me barking at the Frosty Heart and it is so cute. But it's okay; her strengths lie in different areas! Do we need a YouTube account?

Well, my girl uses YouTube and she *finally* figured it out. I'm not allowed to tell you how long it took her, but let me say there was QUITE a few times she I thought she was going to pull out every strand of hair, so I wouldn't suggest asking her about it. But lots of people on here are REALLY talented, so hopefully they can help.

Frosty Hearts look AWESOME! I can just imagine you barking at it - how DARE it slide away from you like that! You're pretty smart to figure out the carpet trick though... good thinking! I bet your mom is so proud of you!

Hi, Poppy.
Those frosties are the best for this hot weather. Here we have 106 degrees! So, my frosties are always on hand!
Until I know you have to register at YouTube. Ask you mom to go there and follow their instructions. I hope we can watch your videos soon!
Have a good night

Oh Poppy, those treats look very delicious. And that's a very good tip about eating on the carpet.

Yes... get a YouTube account. Me and my guardian can't wait to see your video.

Poppy,

I just read your comment on my post -- you and Dogdad have the same sense of humor. The whole time I was suffering with my collar and shaved face, he would sing Phantom of the Opera to me!!! Mom was much more sensitive to my feelings!

Wow! Your Mommy is very very smart if she knows how to make frosty hearts! I love how they work better on the new carpet. hee hee

I think you could start a YouTube acct. and then post your movies. We would love to see you play with your treats.

I hope Babs learns how to make those frosty hearts. They look yummy. Hopefully she makes them before the FROSTY WINTER up here in Minnesota!

Oh! Those look so good! My mama made some of Wally's fruitable cubes and they are fantastic...but I only get to eat them outside.

Dearest Poppy,
Those Frosty Hearts look very tasty! And I, too, have brand new carpet so I think I could eat them really well. Can I please have your recipe to give to my Mom?

Hi Poppy
I like the looks of those frosty hearts. My new little brother Arrow likes the rugs and carpets for everything. You can't call anything very new since he is here.
