A Sad Day
I am sad today. My cousin Jasper died this morning. He was diagnosed with leukemia only about two weeks ago, on October 9th. He was a good boy and a good kitty. I will miss playing with him, which I did sometimes, even though he was much bigger and stronger than me.
I did not even get to say goodbye. But I will try to be brave because I know that he is at the Rainbow Bridge now with my brother Puck and my aunt Muffin.

awww...God called Jasper to Heaven pretty fast didn't He? There must have been an urgent need up there for a special kitty to bring comfort to a small child that also went to Heaven. So it is a sad day here but a joyous day at the rainbow bridge where I am sure Jasper is cuddling, walking in an out of a childs arms and making the children feel warm inside and giggle.
We are sorry for your loss Poppy.

Our mum's last cat (before she got us Sibes, so she says he WILL be her last cat...) also died quickly, practically overnight from Leukemia--it was so sad! That was 12 years ago, and she is still sad. Tobi looked alot like your Jasper, too... Great pics, great memories. So sorry for your loss.

Oh that is so sad! It happened so fast but my mom and I are glad he didn't suffer for a long time. He sure was one good lookin cat! I'm sure your family will miss him very much.

This is a very, very sad day, Poppy. I'm so sorry to hear about Jasper. Those were some great pictures you posted of him, and I know that he will be missed.
Jasper looks like he was a fine kitty. We are so sorry that he left for the bridge, and that it happened so fast you didn't get to say goodbye. But he is healthy and happy, and he knows you love and miss him.
